Discover scuba diver is an introduction into the world of scuba diving. It is a great opportunity to experience the unique encounter of breathing underwater. It can be a one-off time just for the experience and fun of it without being too serious, but it is also a fantastic way to discover how comfortable you feel with it and most importantly whether you enjoy it. It can be an introduction to the trail of learning in diving and help you pursue your path into other courses. The skills you learn can even be used to credit a section in the open water course and therefore put you a step ahead in the course. Therefore it is a great way to get started and get into the water immediately. The session starts with a DVD and introductory briefing, followed by a swim around first in shallow water and then in deeper water. This is then followed with games and relevant diving skills. After a debrief participants receive a personal scuba booklet and a certification of completion. Minimum age: 10 Max depth: 6 meters |

For example you will be able to dive safely to 30 meters and dive in a variety of different environments, depending on the adventure dives you pick. The course is divided up into five adventure dives. Two of the dives are mandatory; the deep dive and navigation dive. The other three are chosen by yourself and can be picked depending on your personal preference from the following: Boat diver, Naturalist, AWARE - Fish identification, peak performance buoyancy, under water photography and many more.... For each adventure dive you read a chapter and fill in a knowledge review. Then you enjoy an exiting dive for each choice, participating in relevant skills for all of them. It is a very enjoyable course and allows personal preferences in the different types of diving an individual would like to pursue. Advanced Open water course Minimum age:10 |

Prior to completing the rescue diver requirements, it is mandatory to have completed an EFR course. This consists of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR- Primary Care) and basic first aid (secondary care). It is also possible to credit the equivalent first aid course if you have previously independently completed the course within the last 24 months. The rescue course is lots of fun and enlightening, but more importantly, it is an incredibly worthy course to participate in. It builds knowledge and awareness and is a great confidence builder. It also makes you a valuable diver to have, being essential for both self rescue and to assist with incidents with other divers. Minimum age: 12
